In November 2005, USA Today/Gallup polls placed President Bush's approval rating in the lower 40's. Then, in late November, we released the Morality Rock CD and Bush's approval ratings began to plunge. In April, our song Marijuana (Bush's pro-pot reggae anthem) was featured on the Dr. Demento Show. Shortly thereafter, Bushs approval ratings hit an all time low, at 31 percent.
Its every rockers dream to have this sort of impact on national public opinion. Ive been high for months, perpetually donning a sardonic smile. It never crossed my mind that maybe George W. Bush has feelings.
