MySpace Presidential Poll

If the 2008 United States Presidential Election was held today, and if the winner was determined by his or her number of mySpace friends, the following would be the results. Candidates are listed from last place to first, so read it slowly to get that element of surprise.



  • Rudy Giuliani (R)- No friends, as far as we know

  • Duncan Hunter (R) - 2272 friends

  • Tommy Thompson (R) - 2309 friends

  • Sam Brownback (R) - 2933 friends

  • Chris Dodd (D) - 2962 friends

  • Joe Biden (D) - 4379 friends

  • Ron Paul (R) - 6674 friends

  • Dennis Kucinich (D) - 7013 friends

  • Mitt Romney (R) - 9745 friends

  • John McCain (R) - 17,247 friends

  • John Edwards (D) - 24,538 friends

  • Hillary Clinton (D) - 28,289 friends

  • Barack Obama (D) - 142,897 friends *


* Barack Obama, the clear front runner, has just 1,681,602 fewer friends than Tila Tequila, who, according to inside sources, may be considering her own presidential bid.
